Get Picky Inspiration Prompt #6

Well...here it is finally!!!!!

This post is a tad late...I've had parent teacher interviews for work, Uni, study, my turn for Kinda helper duty, help in Belle's classroom for a morning and just life in general ...all of which I am loving atm, but it just makes for very busy days and then very early nights :)

Here is Victoria, we are on the bring of school holidays, which is by far, my most favourite time of the year!  Last holidays Noah was very sick with pneumonia, so we didn't really get to enjoy the break....this time round, things are looking good.  I stocked up yesterday on paint, chalk, stickers, cardboard cutouts and some canvases for my cherubs to create with...and have plans to just enjoy their company and have fun.

So...onto my layout....
This month we went with an ad for our inspiration prompt....here it is...

There were so many colour options for this layout, but I was very draw to the blue and purple shades the most. I used a piece of muslin cloth with frayed edges as the base of my photo to replicate the girls fluffy jacket and add some texture to my layout. And who could go past the butterflies. I scattered them across my page in the blue and purple, but also used highlights of yellow taken from the words. The "love" words are spritzed with yellow mist to copy the yellow love in the ad and I've used my gorgeous SRM stickers as a little title in SPECIAL and as some journalling.

Be sure to check out the dt's gorgeous creations and just how differently we've all interpreted the prompt.  I love that about these challenges!
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Take care xxx
